Titan Technologies with its research partner Adherent Technologies has developed and is testing processes for tertiary recycling of commodity plastics, aircraft transparencies, auto shredder residue, used oil filters, composite materials and scrap electronics.
Its pyrolysis process is a combination of established chemical engineering operational procedures that are integrated into an interrelated and functional design. These principles are utilized in Titan s Phase III plant design.
HOW DO TITAN RECYCLING PLANTS WORK? By running automobile tires that have been shredded to approximately 6 diameter through a low temperature process of approximately 450° F, and extracting oil, steel and carbon black for resale.
Late in the 20th Century, Titan had the insight to foresee that disposal of spent tires, obsolete computers and other plastics would become a problem of increasing magnitude for cities and countries throughout the world.
To construct and operate multiple recycling centers in the United States to recycle scrap electronics and plastics, automobile salvage, and automobile tires.
